At Delaware Valley Pediatric Associates, we understand that kids and teens sometimes need extra support with their emotional well-being. That’s why we offer COPE: Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment—a counseling program designed to help children, adolescents, and young adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or other mental health challenges.

Our board-certified Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, Tracy Shore, APN, CPNP, PMHS, provides both general counseling and specialized COPE sessions. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), COPE teaches practical coping skills that help:

• Reduce negative thoughts and worries
   
• Improve self-confidence and problem-solving
   
• Strengthen communication and relationships
   
• Support resilience at school, at home, and with friends
   

By learning these strategies, children and teens gain real-life tools to better manage emotions, face challenges with confidence, and build a stronger sense of self.
